"Beyond K Festa in Yeosu," proposed by Yeosu City, will be held under the slogan "To Yeosu! To the World! To the Future!" and focuses on transforming the city's unique tourism resources into Hallyu content.

Based on Yeosu's historical heritage as the headquarters of Jeolla Jwasuyeong for 400 years during the Joseon Dynasty, the event will feature unique attractions such as the "Jeolla Jwasuyeong Naval Departure Ceremony" combined with traditional Korean music performances, as well as experiential programs like the "Yi Sunshin Storytelling Day Moonlight Walk Tour" for global visitors to enjoy.

In addition, the city plans to captivate foreign tourists visiting Korea with events such as the "Digilog Festival" (a combination of "digital" and "analog"), which expands on Yeosu's representative local culture of "Romantic Busking" that has continued since 2012, the "K-Acoustic Concert," and a "Drone Light Show."

A Yeosu City official stated, "With differentiated content that harmonizes tradition and modernity, we will offer a special experience to domestic and international tourists. We will thoroughly prepare this new mega-event to establish Yeosu as a cultural hub aligned with Hallyu trends and as a world-class tourist city."
