The KOSPI started higher in the 2,480 range on the 4th, with the KOSPI index and KRW/USD exchange rate displayed on the status board at the Hana Bank dealing room in Jung-gu, Seoul. On that day, the KOSPI opened at 2,481.88, up 27.93 points (1.14%) from the previous session, while the KRW/USD exchange rate started at 1,457.50 won, up 9.70 won.
