The money we use every day plays a role beyond just being currency in our lives. It was no different in the past. Sangpyeong Tongbo was the main coin during the Joseon Dynasty. The hands carefully polishing the Sangpyeong Tongbo engraved on the main gate of the Bank of Korea Currency Museum remind us once again of the preciousness and value of money.
