On the 31st (local time), at the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club (par 72, 6,624 yards) in Orlando, Florida, USA, during the second round of the 2025 LPGA Tour season opener, the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions (total prize money $2 million), she recorded six birdies and three bogeys. Adding a 3-under-par 69, she maintained her position at the top of the leaderboard with a total of 10-under-par 134. She was three strokes ahead of second-place Linn Grant (Sweden, 7-under-par 137). Kim Ah-rim, who has been sponsored by Mediheal since this year, is now looking at her third career win since the Lotte Championship last November.

World No. 1 Nelly Korda (USA) shot five under par to jump to a tie for third place (6-under-par 138). Rookie Takeda Rio (Japan), who won eight times on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) Tour last year, also joined the group tied for third. Ko Jin-young was in sixth place (5-under-par 139), defending champion Lydia Ko (New Zealand) tied for seventh (4-under-par 140), and Kim Hyo-joo was tied for ninth (3-under-par 141) as the tournament reached the halfway point.

This tournament is a "champion of champions" event featuring 32 winners from the tour over the past two years. Professionals and celebrity amateurs form teams to compete, and after two rounds, NHL player Joe Pavelski leads the amateur division with a score of 69. The celebrity rankings are calculated using a modified Stableford system, which converts scores on each hole into points.
