On the 31st, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance disclosed detailed value-up plans to increase shareholder returns following a board of directors report.

To enhance the sustainability and predictability of the shareholder return policy, the company decided to raise the shareholder return ratio and reduce the treasury stock ratio.

It selected the solvency ratio (K-ICS) and return on equity (ROE) as the core indicators of value-up and committed to achieving the target values. The K-ICS ratio target is set at 220%, and the ROE target is set between 11% and 13%.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance adopted the slogan "Strengthening business fundamentals and growing together with shareholders."

It unveiled a roadmap to enhance shareholder value, including strengthening core business competitiveness, securing new growth engines, and improving social value.

As the number one domestic non-life insurance company, it stated it will lead the market and reinforce its core business. The company plans to actively explore business opportunities in the global market to secure future profit bases.

It will promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management focusing on four areas: environment, society, governance, and management.

A Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance official said, "Starting with the disclosure of the value-up plan, we will continue to communicate with investors and the market and actively strive to enhance shareholder value."
