Gwangju City to Support Entire Commercialization Process for Software Companies' Products

Gwangju City and the Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced on the 31st that they are recruiting software companies to participate in the 'Software (SW) Convergence Product Service Development and Commercialization Support Project' until the 12th of next month.
This project aims to help companies with outstanding technology in the region grow in the market, and to promote economic revitalization and job creation.
Eligible applicants are software businesses (main office) located in Gwangju as of the announcement date, and must meet the detailed requirements for preliminary leading companies such as sales figures. The city will select one leading company through a business evaluation and provide 300 million KRW (national and city funds) in support.
The selected company will receive various support, including: ▲business support funds and assistance for domestic and overseas market entry such as marketing ▲strengthening corporate competitiveness by securing core technologies such as product and quality certification ▲various support such as software quality education for managers and developers and expert technical guidance.
Lee Doan, Head of the Robot, Home Appliance, and Medical Industry Division, said, "We will actively support the selected leading company so that its technology and ideas can successfully settle in the market," and added, "We hope for active participation and interest from local companies."
