Jeonnam Province Offers 50% Discount on Comprehensive Medical Checkup Fees for Exemplary Taxpayers

Jeollanam-do will provide a 50% discount on comprehensive medical examination fees for 100 exemplary taxpayers selected this year.

Recently, Jeollanam-do signed a business agreement with Suncheon Medical Center and Gangjin Medical Center in Jeollanam-do to support the 'Discount Benefit on Comprehensive Medical Examination Fees for Exemplary Taxpayers of Jeollanam-do.'

According to the agreement, Suncheon and Gangjin Medical Centers will offer a comprehensive medical examination package worth 300,000 won, including various equipment and ultrasound tests, at a 50% discounted price of 150,000 won to 100 exemplary taxpayers scheduled to be selected in 2025.

In addition, exemplary taxpayers in Jeollanam-do will receive various benefits such as preferential deposit and loan interest rates and fee exemptions at Nonghyup Bank and Gwangju Bank for one year, discounts on parking fees at paid public parking lots in the Jeollanam-do area, and, for corporations, exemption from tax audits for three years.

Meanwhile, exemplary taxpayers in Jeollanam-do are selected in early March each year by the Jeollanam-do Local Tax Deliberation Committee from among those who, as of January 1, have had no record of tax arrears in the past three years and have paid at least 20 million won (for corporations) or 2 million won (for individuals) in local taxes.
