The three major indices of the U.S. New York stock market all closed higher on the 23rd (local time).
On this day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average (Dow) closed up 0.92% compared to the previous trading day. The large-cap focused S&P 500 index rose 0.53%, hitting a new all-time high. The tech-heavy Nasdaq index jumped 1.28% to close the session.
