This event was conducted for companies selected for the Startup Growth Technology Development Project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in October last year, and consisted of a special lecture by an R&D expert and a briefing session on the projects to be promoted in 2025.

In particular, the lecture by Professor Lim Kwon-su of Dongyang Mirae University on how to carry out R&D tasks and manage performance received great responses from participating companies.

To provide practical assistance to companies undertaking R&D tasks for the first time, experts from various institutions including the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and Gyeongbuk TP participated to provide detailed information on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ major projects in 2025, policy financial support from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and Gyeongbuk TP’s projects for 2025.

Gyeongbuk TP selected 130 companies undertaking the Ministry of SMEs and Startups R&D for the first time in July last year and recommended them to the Ministry, with 100 companies finally selected and currently carrying out R&D tasks.

Gyeongbuk TP actively supports the successful technology development of startup companies by linking and supporting unique programs for commercialization utilizing the foundation’s startup support capabilities.

A representative from one of the companies participating in this training said, “There were many difficulties in carrying out R&D tasks for the first time, but I am very satisfied to receive practical help through this training.”

Gyeongbuk TP plans to contribute to revitalizing the regional economy by developing and operating various support programs for the growth of startup companies in the future.

A Gyeongbuk Technopark official said, “We hope that promising early-stage startup companies carrying out the Ministry of SMEs and Startups R&D tasks will receive practical help for smooth task execution and performance management through this capacity-building training.”
