Daishin Securities to Operate Overseas Stock Desk During Lunar New Year Holiday

Daishin Securities will operate an overseas stock desk during the Lunar New Year holiday period.

On the 23rd, Daishin Securities announced that it will operate an "overseas stock desk" from the 27th to the 30th during the Lunar New Year holiday period to facilitate smooth overseas stock trading. The company plans to provide conveniences such as stock consultations and phone order services for overseas stock investors even during the holiday period.

The countries where trading is possible during this period include 16 countries such as the United States and Japan. Trading of U.S., Japanese, and Chinese stocks is also available online through the Mobile Trading Service (MTS).

Countries where only offline trading such as phone orders is possible include the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

China will be closed from the 28th to February 3rd, Hong Kong from the afternoon of the 28th to the 31st, Vietnam from the 27th to the 31st, and Singapore from the 29th to the 30th.

U.S. stocks can be traded during the holiday period through the Korean won order service without currency exchange. To trade stocks of other countries during the holiday period, currency exchange must be done in advance. Currency exchange is available until 4:30 PM on the 24th.
