Busan Regional Veterans Office Supports Meals for National Merit Recipients with 'Everyone's Veterans Table' for Lunar New Year

The Busan Regional Veterans Office (Director Lee Nam-il) held the Lunar New Year meal support event for national merit recipients, "Everyone's Veterans Table," on the 21st and 22nd in collaboration with the Busan Briquette Bank (CEO Kang Jeong-chil).

On the 21st, the Busan Regional Veterans Office served a special Lunar New Year meal (including galbitang) prepared by the Busan Briquette Bank as "Everyone's Veterans Table" to 57 national merit recipients (and their families), and delivered cosmetic sets (supported by the Busan Briquette Bank) and rice cake soup rice cakes.

Additionally, as a token of gratitude for continuous interest and participation, the Busan Regional Veterans Office donated 300,000 KRW collected from employees to the Busan Briquette Bank, and the director along with staff participated in meal distribution volunteer work.

On the 22nd, they personally visited 10 elderly, homebound national merit recipients with mobility difficulties to deliver lunch boxes and consolation gifts and to check on their well-being.

This "Everyone's Veterans Table" event was promoted nationwide through collaboration between regional Briquette Banks and local veterans offices. The Busan Regional Veterans Office operates "Everyone愛 Brunch," providing lunch every Tuesday to national merit recipients in partnership with the Busan Briquette Bank, sponsored by BNK Busan Bank.

Lee Nam-il, director of the Busan Regional Veterans Office, stated, "We will continue to actively strive to remember the 'dedication to the nation' and to practice 'living veterans service in daily life, veterans for everyone' through expanded public-private cooperation."
