At the briefing session on current issues, Chairman Jo Seong-dae and the city council members received sequential reports from senior officials such as department heads on the major current issues and ordinance amendments currently being pursued by the executive branch.

The major current issues included 23 items reported, such as those under the Planning and Finance Office △2024 deemed budget compilation report, under the Finance and Economy Bureau △partial amendment ordinance of the Namyangju City Local Government Officials Travel Expenses Ordinance, under the Welfare Bureau △consent proposal for private consignment of the women's startup platform 'Kkummaru' and three other items, under the Culture and Education Bureau △ordinance to enhance the brand value of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong and two other items, as well as the pre-budget compilation of the special adjustment grants from Gyeonggi Province distributed last year.
