Changnyeong-gun Veterans Association Holds '64th Regular General Meeting of 2025' for National Security

The Changnyeong County Veterans Association in Gyeongnam held its 64th regular general meeting at the main auditorium of the Changnyeong County Senior Welfare Center, with over 150 attendees including heads of related organizations and veterans association members.


The regular general meeting held on the 22nd was conducted in two parts: the first part was a decision-making event, and the second part was a commemorative event, during which members pledged to play a leading role in regional development and national security.

The award recipients included: Changnyeong County Mayor’s Commendation awarded to Gu Yeongsuk and Kim Duhyeong; National Assembly Member’s Commendation awarded to Seong Yugyeong and Seo Hyeonjeong; Changnyeong County Council Chairman’s Commendation awarded to Yoo Yeongcheol and Go Chunhwa; Veterans Association Commendations including Headquarters President’s Commendation awarded to No Manseok, Provincial Chairman’s Commendation awarded to Shin Seongsuk, and County Chairman’s Commendations awarded to Jeong Sunok and An Juhyeon, totaling 10 honorees.


County Mayor Seong Nakin stated, “Through today’s regular general meeting, I hope our veterans association will establish a renewed stature through changes and leaps that respond to the mission of the times, and that it will be a meaningful time to strengthen the unity and solidarity of the members.”


Meanwhile, the Changnyeong County Veterans Association conducts security education and on-site security training, contributing to the establishment of a proper national perspective and a firm security outlook, and actively continues volunteer activities for the development of the local community.
