[Concall] Hyundai Motor "GM Collaboration Starts with Joint Parts Purchasing... Aiming for Final Contract in 1Q This Year"

Hyundai Motor Company stated in the conference call announcing the '2024 Q4 Business Performance' held on the 23rd, "Cooperation with GM is expected to be primarily focused on joint purchasing of (parts) between the two companies," adding, "We are working towards signing the final contract within the first quarter of this year."

They continued, "Regarding commercial vehicles, we are also considering rebadging electric commercial vehicles for GM, aiming to explore opportunities to enter the North American commercial vehicle market," and added, "We have reached a consensus to cooperate in passenger cars as well and are currently in the process of selecting specific models."
