Busan Port Authority Donates 5 Million Won in Relief Funds for Passenger Plane Disaster

Busan Port Authority (President Kang Jun-seok, BPA) donated 5 million won as a condolence fund for the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster that occurred at Muan Airport.

On the 23rd, BPA announced that it had donated 5 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to support the disaster site of Jeju Air and the livelihood stabilization of the bereaved families.

BPA decided to make the donation to fulfill its social responsibility as a public institution in response to this disaster.

President Kang Jun-seok said, “We express our condolences to the victims and offer our sympathies to the bereaved families,” adding, “BPA will also reaffirm the importance of safety management as a public institution and will strive to ensure thorough safety management by actively communicating with the field and related organizations to prevent safety accidents within Busan Port and port facilities.”
