With a sharp increase in respiratory infectious diseases such as influenza and COVID-19, they urged emergency room operating institutions to prepare for patients with respiratory infectious diseases and requested participation from hospitals and clinics open during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Yeoju City plans to operate an emergency medical situation room related to the emergency medical system during the Lunar New Year holiday period to provide information on hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies that are open and to manage their operational status. They will conduct daily inspections during the holiday to ensure there are no disruptions in emergency medical care.
Ahn Seon-suk, head of the Health Administration Division at Yeoju Public Health Center, stated, “We will maintain the emergency response system so that all citizens can have a safe and healthy Lunar New Year holiday.”
