The three major indices of the U.S. New York stock market all closed higher on the 22nd (local time).
On that day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average (Dow) closed up 0.3% compared to the previous trading day. The S&P 500, which focuses on large-cap stocks, rose 0.61%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq index jumped 1.28% to close the session.
