The Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Bank of Korea (headed by Park Wangeun) announced on the 22nd that it held a 'Finance and Economics Training Course for Teachers'.

On this day, 46 elementary, middle, and high school teachers participated in the training, attending lectures on the Bank of Korea and the history of currency, personal asset management and financial planning methods, as well as ways to prevent voice phishing and financial fraud.

This training course was conducted in connection with a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education in March last year.

Participants said, "The history of the central bank and the evolution of currency was interesting, and we learned the importance of asset management at different stages of life."

A representative from the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Bank of Korea said, "We plan to continue providing economic education programs in cooperation with related organizations."
