Plunit Accelerates Market Domination of 'Phone AI Agent' with Workcenter and Sonbiseo

Generative AI technology company Plunit announced on the 22nd that its phone AI agent platform, 'Plunit Workcenter,' recorded approximately 500,000 cumulative phone calls last year.


Plunit Workcenter is an AI agent platform that responds 24/7 to consultations received through omni-channels such as phone and KakaoTalk. The consultation content is saved not only as recordings and text files but also provided as summaries. If necessary, it can quickly respond additionally, and marketing activities can be carried out through bulk text and phone call sending functions.


According to Plunit, the total cumulative phone calls last year amounted to 498,766, with the AI agent responding for over 6,100 hours. Moving company Tongin Express handles moving and cleaning requests, pharmacy IT solution company Cresoti and hospital cloud EMR platform company Bit Computer manage CS responses and requests through the Workcenter. The platform is also highly utilized by startups and self-employed individuals who find it difficult to set up customer centers.


Another service from Plunit, 'Sonbiseo,' has already surpassed 1,600 cumulative customers and 30,000 phone calls during its beta release phase. Depending on the set mode, the AI assistant responds 24/7 to incoming calls and automatically replies to absence messages and simple calls as an AI agent application.


The paid version, scheduled for release in the first quarter of this year, will add new features such as custom response message functions and call history checking. Quality improvements such as call recording and Bluetooth integration will also be implemented. A Plunit representative said, "We expect high utilization especially among self-employed and sales management roles that frequently handle phone calls."


Plunit CEO Lee Kyung-il explained, "Plunit's Workcenter and Sonbiseo are AI services developed to allow anyone to conveniently use call centers worth tens of billions of won," adding, "Through phone AI agents, not only can work efficiency be maximized, but a proper balance between work and life can also be enjoyed."


Plunit is a subsidiary of Saltlux, an AI company that introduced Korea's first LLM, 'Lucia.'
