The police have apprehended three suspects who posted murder threats targeting the Constitutional Court, courts, and the National Assembly.
The National Investigation Headquarters Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency requested Kim Shin, Chief of Family Affairs at the Presidential Security Service, to appear on the 14th on charges of obstructing official duties, but he did not attend that day. The police are mobilizing all investigative resources, with cybercrime investigation units of police agencies across all provinces and cities leading the efforts to swiftly track down and arrest the posters.
A police official stated, “Posting threats of heinous crimes online is a serious offense that threatens the social community,” adding, “We will promptly apprehend the suspects and take strict judicial measures to alleviate public anxiety.”
