DL E&C·DL Geonseol Launch 'DL Safety and Health Council'..."Zero Major Accidents Goal"

DL E&C announced on the 22nd that it has jointly established and started operating the ‘DL Safety and Health Council’ with its 100% subsidiary DL Construction. This council was established to further strengthen the safety and health system with the goal of ‘Zero Serious Accidents.’

On the 13th, the 'DL Safety and Health Council,' composed of executives and employees from DL E&C and DL Construction, held a workshop for the 2025 Safety and Health Management Plan. Provided by DL E&C.

DL E&C’s Gi Il-po, Head of Safety and Health Management (CSO), and DL Construction’s Lim Sung-hoon, CSO, will co-chair the council. The council will focus on establishing a flawless system from safety and health policy formulation to system construction. Both companies plan to design optimized safety activities by comparing and analyzing each company’s safety standards and work manuals, thereby clearly defining roles between organizations.

In council meetings, safety inspection results from each company will be shared, and insights and improvements derived from cross-checks will be discussed. Through this, they aim to enhance both safety and health levels and work efficiency, as well as secure the highest quality.

The council will operate as a task force (TF) for the initial three months to promote effective and sustainable improvement activities. Afterwards, after deriving the optimal operation plan, it will transition into a regular council.

A DL E&C official stated, “Our goal is to secure the highest level of safety system through close communication and thorough cross-checks between the two companies,” adding, “Strengthening safety and health is a non-negotiable top priority, and we will continue to strive for zero serious accidents.”
