On the 17th, staff from the Civil Affairs Division of Damyang-gun, Jeonnam, and the Civil Affairs and Land Division of Haenam-gun held the first mutual Hometown Love Donation Ceremony for 2025 at Haenam County Office.


This mutual donation was carried out voluntarily, reflecting the hope for regional development between the two local governments. A total of 25 people from each municipality donated 1 million KRW each, amounting to 2.5 million KRW exchanged between the two.


Damyang-gun and Haenam-gun agreed to use this mutual donation as an opportunity to further strengthen their friendship and cooperation through the sharing of work and diverse exchanges in the future.


Lee Byeongno, Governor of Damyang-gun, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to the staff and officials of Haenam-gun who came together to make this mutual Hometown Love Donation possible," and added, "I hope that this event will mark the beginning of a lasting friendship and warm partnership between our two municipalities."
