Suncheon City, South Jeolla Province (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) visited Araetjang and Utjang traditional markets on the 17th and 20th in celebration of the Lunar New Year, launching an initiative to revitalize traditional markets.
Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu and city officials toured the traditional markets, listened to the concerns of merchants, and offered words of encouragement.

Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu stated, "We will strive to stabilize livelihoods for a warm Lunar New Year," and added, "I hope everyone will experience the warm hospitality of the traditional markets and purchase holiday necessities there during this holiday."
Meanwhile, the city is actively promoting a 15% discount policy on Suncheon Sarang gift certificates to vitalize traditional markets and the local economy. In addition, campaigns for price stabilization and traffic order are being conducted to maintain stable prices and improve convenience for market visitors during the Lunar New Year.
