Various Opening Events Including Joint Meal Service and Prize Scratch Event

POSCO Pohang Steelworks completed the remodeling of the Seongangdae Cafeteria and held a completion ceremony on the 21st.

The newly completed Seongangdae Cafeteria has been newly equipped with various convenience facilities and communication spaces such as a communication lounge, convenience store, and cafe, greatly improving the rest environment and convenience for employees.

At the Seongangdae Cafeteria completion ceremony, special meals such as herbal abalone short rib soup and pork steak platters were provided, along with a prize scratch event, receiving great responses from employees.

In particular, the meal service on this day was part of a leading-by-example activity, with participation from management, the employee representative organization, and the partner company association president, creating a warm atmosphere.

An employee who dined at the Seongangdae Cafeteria said, “Thanks to the pleasant environment and various convenience facilities, meal times have become more enjoyable,” and added, “I am grateful to feel that the company is making great efforts for its employees.”

Lee Kyung-min, leader of the Welfare Section at Pohang Steelworks, who was in charge of the cafeteria remodeling, said, “I hope the newly renovated Seongangdae Cafeteria will become a healing space for employees working hard on the front lines,” and added, “We will continue to improve the cafeteria environment and meal quality through ongoing VOE listening.”
