Paju City to Open Mobile Mayor's Office for 2025 Administrative Operation Plan

Taking Firm Steps Toward a Happy Paju for All
Gyeonggi Paju City (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 21st that it has been holding the '2025 City Administration Operation Plan Briefing and Mobile Mayor's Office' since the 20th.
Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City will visit 20 towns and townships, two places a day starting with Geumchon 2-dong to mark the new year, directly explaining Paju City's administration operation plan and holding a communication session with local residents through the mobile mayor's office.
Following 2024, Paju City will continue to emphasize public livelihood in 2025, aiming for 'MinSaeng All-in (All人)' with a stronger focus on 'Only Public Livelihood!' and 'Public Livelihood for All!' Mayor Kim Kyung-il will explain the city administration operation plan centered on three major city goals: △ Building a leading basic society city in Korea △ Rapid entry into a self-sufficient city of one million △ Establishing a metropolitan cultural and ecological recreation hub, to create a 'Happy Paju for All.'
Following the city administration operation plan briefing, the mobile mayor's office will listen to residents' opinions on the 2025 city administration and hold various discussions for future city development.
Meanwhile, the mobile mayor's office, which started in September 2022, has been held a total of 121 times until 2024. Over 4,000 citizens participated, and more than 1,300 opinions were presented.
Mayor Kim Kyung-il stated, “The reason for meeting and communicating directly with citizens is that reflecting the voices from the field in city administration becomes the foundation for Paju City's development,” adding, “Through the mobile mayor's office, which visits more sites in every corner, we will listen carefully to the voices of the citizens.”
The 2025 Paju City administration operation plan briefing and mobile mayor's office will be held in January at △ January 20: Geumchon 2-dong, Unjeong 3-dong △ January 21: Papyeong-myeon, Jeokseong-myeon △ January 22: Unjeong 1-dong, Unjeong 6-dong △ January 23: Munsan-eup, Jangdan-myeon △ January 24: Unjeong 2-dong, Unjeong 4-dong.
After the Lunar New Year holiday, in February, the sessions will be held at △ February 3: Gyohadong, Unjeong 5-dong △ February 4: Wollong-myeon, Geumchon 1-dong △ February 5: Beobwon-eup, Paju-eup △ February 6: Gwangtan-myeon, Jori-eup △ February 7: Geumchon 3-dong, Tanhyeon-myeon.
