Asan City in Chungnam will hold the proclamation ceremony for the '2025~2026 Visit Asan Years' at the Onyang Oncheon Station Plaza on the 24th.

The event will begin at 1:30 PM with performances by trot singers Lee Hapyeong and Noh Sooyoung, as well as the city choir, followed by the proclamation ceremony and congratulatory performances.

The city is preparing to discover tourism revitalization projects through collaboration among all departments and plans to attract visitors by focusing on the newly opening Sinjeongho Local Garden, scheduled for official opening in April, and Yi Sunshin tourism content.

Acting Mayor Cho Ilgyo stated, "In connection with the Chungnam Visit Years, we will create an opportunity for our city to once again leap forward as a representative tourism city of Korea," and asked for the interest and participation of citizens.

Meanwhile, the proclamation ceremony was originally scheduled to be held on the 1st at the Gokgyocheon Multipurpose Plaza along with a sunrise event, but was postponed due to the national mourning period following the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.
