The two universities held in-depth discussions on student exchange programs such as degree programs and credit recognition, provision of English lectures, support for exchange students, and master's and doctoral programs, as well as faculty exchanges, joint research, and academic seminars. Both institutions agreed to designate working-level personnel to communicate actively to ensure that the MOU leads to practical exchanges rather than remaining a formal agreement.

President Bae of Daegu National University of Education stated, “Practical exchanges are being carried out in various fields such as educational volunteering, Korean language education, student exchanges, teacher training, and short-term visits with our sister universities in Vietnam. We expect that the MOU with Hanoi National University of Education will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Vietnam.” He added, “We will strive to enhance exchange and cooperation with overseas educational institutions to provide many opportunities for prospective teachers in order to nurture global educators equipped with creativity and character.”
