On that day, the KOSPI opened at 2,533.23, up 13.18 points (0.52%) from the previous session, the KOSDAQ rose 0.91 points (0.13%) to 728.57, and the won/dollar exchange rate started the day at 1,437.0 won, down 14.7 won.
