Korea Investment Trust Management announced on the 21st that it will hold a gratitude event to celebrate the combined net asset value of two ACE Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) investing in the U.S. representative indices S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 surpassing 3 trillion won.
According to the Korea Exchange, the combined net asset value of the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF and ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF exceeded 3 trillion won on the 10th. As of the 20th, the net asset value was recorded at 1.7407 trillion won for the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF and 1.3378 trillion won for the ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF. Over the past year, the combined net assets of the ETFs increased by 1.725 trillion won.
The ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF and ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF are products that track the U.S. S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indices, respectively. Since their listings in August and October 2020, the two products have achieved returns of 119.08% and 135.73%. As they invest in the long-term upward trending U.S. representative indices with currency exposure, they have shown higher performance compared to the index returns.
Recent performance is also excellent. The ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF recorded returns of 35.29% and 59.32% over the past 1 year and 3 years, respectively. The ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF posted returns of 35.88% and 71.67% during the same periods.
Korea Investment Trust Management will hold the event until the 28th of next month. Participation is possible by subscribing to the Korea Investment Trust Management YouTube channel and certifying a new purchase of either the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF or the ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF.
Nam Yong-su, Head of ETF Management at Korea Investment Trust Management, said, "Domestic investors' interest in U.S. investments is expected to continue this year following last year," adding, "We hope investors can benefit from U.S. prioritization under President Donald Trump's potential re-election through the ACE U.S. S&P 500 ETF and ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 ETF."
