Two-Time KLPGA Runner-Up Last Year
Maintained Tour Card by Finishing 27th on Money List
Lim Hee-jeong, Park Gyeol, Yoo Hyo-ju, and Yoo Hyun-joo Now Teammates
Doosan Construction Golf Team has signed promising Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) player Park Hye-jun.
On the 20th, Doosan Construction announced that they had signed a main sponsorship contract with Park Hye-jun. Park said, "I was the runner-up at last season's Doosan Construction We’ve Championship, and this year, as a sponsored player, I want to lift the winner's trophy." The Doosan Construction Golf Team is composed of seven members this year: Lim Hee-jeong, Yoo Hyo-ju, Park Gyeol, Yoo Hyun-joo, Kim Min-sol, Lee Yul-rin, and Park Hye-jun.
Park Hye-jun stands out with her refreshing swing and accurate shots, which come from her tall height of 177 cm. She is one of the representative tall players on the KLPGA Tour. She spent her junior years in Australia and stepped onto the KLPGA Tour in 2022 but lost her tour card and played on the Dream (second-tier) Tour in 2023. Last year, she returned to the regular tour and finished as runner-up in the domestic season opener, the Doosan Construction We’ve Championship, and the Jeju Samdasoo Masters. She maintained her tour card by ranking 27th in the prize money rankings (418.92 million KRW). On the 6th, she left for training camp in Thailand. She will return after completing a schedule of about seven weeks.
