The Child Housing Poverty Household Clean Service Project targets low-income child households that ▲fall below the minimum housing standards, ▲live in semi-basements or rooftop rooms, or ▲have a median income of 100% or less, including single-parent families and near-poverty groups.

The project conducts a customized needs survey to support necessary items tailored to each household. Applicants can choose two items from services such as disinfection and pest control, storage organization, wallpaper and flooring replacement, and two items from housing environment improvement goods such as air conditioners/heaters, washing machines, and air purifiers.

Applicants must visit their local administrative welfare center with documents such as a resident registration certificate and building register to apply. Kim Kyung-hee, mayor of Icheon City, said, "We hope this project will help children grow up in better environments."
