On Monday the 20th, mostly cloudy weather will continue, with raindrops falling or light snow occurring in various places.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 19th, from night on the 19th to early morning on the 20th, raindrops less than 0.1mm or snow less than 0.1cm will fall in northern Gyeonggi, and from early morning to daytime on the 20th, the same will occur in southern Chungbuk.
Temperatures will be above average, rising to a daytime high of 6 to 11 degrees Celsius.
The expected snowfall (cm) and precipitation (mm) on the 20th are less than 1cm in eastern and northwestern inland Gyeonggi, around 1mm in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi, around 1cm and 1mm in Yeongseo, Gangwon, less than 1cm in central and northern Chungbuk, around 1mm in Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam, less than 1cm in northeastern inland mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, less than 5mm in Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and less than 1mm in northeastern inland mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk.
The Korea Meteorological Administration advised that there is a high possibility of icy roads in these areas, urging drivers to maintain a safe distance and drive at low speeds.
From late night on the 19th to morning on the 20th, dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is expected in Incheon, Gyeonggi, and the northern coastal areas of Chungnam.
Especially on coastal bridges such as Incheon Bridge, Yeongjong Bridge, and Seohae Bridge, as well as roads adjacent to rivers, lakes, and valleys, fog may be denser than in surrounding areas, so caution for traffic safety is necessary.
