Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, issued a statement on the 19th regarding the issuance of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Seok-yeol, saying, "I feel devastated and saddened by the unprecedented arrest of a sitting president in constitutional history."

He continued, "I earnestly hope that the constitutional order will be restored early without social turmoil and that the nation will stabilize," adding, "Our Gyeongnam Province will prioritize the stability of residents and public livelihood and do our best to respond to any situation."
