Donations for a Warm Winter for Senior Citizens at Village Centers

As the Lunar New Year approaches, warm-hearted donations from companies in Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, are continuing one after another.

On the 19th, Chilgok-gun announced that the Changpyeong Industrial Complex Council in Jicheon-myeon, Chilgok-gun (Chairman Park Jong-gan) donated 200kg (10 boxes) of rice cake soup rice cakes to Jicheon-myeon on the 17th, gathering the hearts of its members for the elderly at the village senior centers.

Park Jong-gan, chairman of the Changpyeong Industrial Complex Council, said, "We prepared rice cake soup rice cakes by gathering the hearts of the members so that the elderly at the senior centers can enjoy warm rice cake soup in the cold weather." He added, "We plan to continue practicing neighborly love through sharing for the elderly and marginalized groups in Jicheon-myeon villages."

Ahn Chang-ho, head of Jicheon-myeon, said, "We are grateful for your sharing for the elderly at the senior centers, and we will create a warm Jicheon-myeon where everyone lives together."
