The research group is composed mainly of teachers who were selected for this year’s 2030 Classroom lesson contest and aims to expand the 2030 Classroom approach within their respective schools by sharing lessons internally. The 2030 Classroom focuses on student-led learning, utilizing generative AI and edutech as its core elements.

By leveraging generative AI technology, the group conducts real-time discussions and analyzes scientific experiment data using visualization tools, integrating advanced technology into classroom instruction. In addition, the group promotes interdisciplinary learning through local community problem-solving projects and provides opportunities for international exchange through a global bridge program.

In this context, the research group held a workshop in Yeosu on the 13th to discuss operational directions for 2025. During the workshop, innovative lesson cases such as the “Future Housing Design Using Edutech” project were shared, and specific lesson plans utilizing generative AI were presented.

To invigorate the research group, the Office of Education has designated 23 existing Future Classroom Research Groups as mentors and established a one-on-one matching support system. The research group will share its achievements through inter-school and international exchange classes, and plans to spread innovative cases through the “2030 Classroom Festival” in the second semester.

Lee Jihyun, Director of Secondary Education, emphasized, “The teachers in the 2030 Classroom Research Group have already begun activities for classroom innovation to prepare for the future. Secondary classrooms in the province will be able to proactively get ready for future education,” adding, “We look forward to the active research and practice of our members.”
