The name Syros is derived from the island of Syros in the Cyclades, Greece. It reflects the image of Syros Island, where tradition and Western culture harmonize, symbolizing Kia’s intention to offer differentiated product value compared to competing models.
As an urban SUV, Syros is equipped with various advanced features and a smart connectivity system, along with bold design and a comfortable interior space.
In particular, Kia applied sliding and reclining functions to the rear seats, as well as ventilated seats, and equipped the vehicle with advanced driver assistance systems and a dual panoramic sunroof to provide the best-in-class mobility experience in the same segment.
Syros has already received 10,258 pre-orders, signaling strong sales prospects in the Indian market.
Kia will reveal the price of Syros in the Indian market on the 1st of next month and begin sales. The company plans to expand sales markets to the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Africa-Middle East regions.
President Song said, "Kia’s new model Syros incorporates customers’ feedback with various advanced features and a comfortable interior space," adding, "Through Syros, we will continuously provide differentiated value to local customers in India and further strengthen our position in the Indian market."
