The People Power Party Gyeongbuk Provincial Party Committee's Nomination Management Committee (Chairman Gu Ja-geun) held the first meeting of the '4.2 By-election Gyeongbuk Provincial Party Committee Nomination Management Committee' in the Gyeongbuk Provincial Party Committee meeting room in Daegu city, the committee announced on the 16th.

At the meeting, the Gyeongbuk Nomination Committee resolved to nominate candidates for three elections: Kimcheon Mayor, Metropolitan Councilor (Seongju-gun), and Basic Councilor (Goryeong-gun Na), and discussed the future schedule related to this.

On January 13, the Central Party Emergency Response Committee approved the appointments for the 4.2 By-election Gyeongbuk Provincial Party Committee Nomination Management Committee: Chairman Gu Ja-geun (Gumi Gap), Vice Chairman Jang Gil-hwa, former Gyeongbuk Provincial Council member, and members Kwon Eun-joo, head of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch of Women’s Newspaper, Ma Jeong-yeon, Chairwoman of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Party Women’s Committee, and Ahn Hyun-gyu, Chair of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Party Youth Committee, respectively.
