Fashion Group Hyungji announced on the 16th that Vice Chairman Choi Jun-ho will attend the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Donald Trump in Washington DC, USA, on the 20th (local time).
Participating as the CEO of Castelbajac, Vice Chairman Choi is currently the only fashion-related figure invited to the inauguration ceremony. Through this visit, he plans to interact with local political and business figures and then move to New York on the 21st to attend 'Texworld USA 2025,' a global textile and fashion exhibition.
Texworld is a textile exhibition held in New York, the largest textile and fashion consumer market in the world. Every year, excellent textile material companies participate in the exhibition aiming to pioneer export markets and expand overseas marketing. Vice Chairman Choi will observe the status of competitive textile companies from various countries and visit the Korean Pavilion, organized by the Korea Federation of Textile Industries as part of the export consortium project of the Korea Federation of SMEs.
A Castelbajac official stated, "Vice Chairman Choi plans to secure a communication channel with the United States, which has a powerful influence on the domestic economy, through his attendance at this inauguration ceremony, fostering closer exchanges and expanding the scope of global advancement." He added, "We will continue to actively promote Hyungji's competitive brands and expand our entry into the global market."
