President Yoon Suk-yeol was arrested by the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Unit (PCC) on charges of leading a rebellion, while Na Kyung-won, a member of the People Power Party, said, "I absolutely do not intend to support martial law, but from the president's perspective, he must have wondered if he is really the president."

On the 14th, Na appeared on Channel A Radio's 'Political Signal' and said, "It has been two years since the Yoon Suk-yeol administration took office, but the Democratic Party has held the majority of seats in the National Assembly, so nothing has been properly implemented. Even the small efforts made by government ministries are being erased."

She added, "The president's number one election pledge was to abolish the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, but even that was not achieved," and claimed, "The Democratic Party passed unconstitutional bills recklessly." She continued, "They impeached people through impeachment motions, passed unconstitutional bills to paralyze the government, refused to pass any bills the government wanted, and then cut all special activity funds for the police and prosecution, preventing them from functioning properly. The president's special activity funds were also entirely cut except for the Security Office budget. Ultimately, this paralyzed state affairs."

Na also said, "Ordinary citizens naturally have the right to defense, and members of the National Assembly have the privilege of immunity from arrest, which is a very special privilege, but in the case of the president, there were three summons requests within just four days," adding, "This is not about whether the president is liked or disliked. Even if a murderer is caught in the act, their rights are fully guaranteed. However, although the president's duties have at least been suspended, he is the sitting president, and yet the minimum right to defense afforded to ordinary citizens is not being guaranteed, and this kind of pressure clearly has an intention behind it."

She went on, "Looking at the background of Oh Dong-woon, the head of the PCC, he has previously donated to Democratic Party lawmakers and is also a member of the Human Rights Law Research Association," and said, "This is President Yoon's personnel disaster."

Meanwhile, on the 15th, the PCC arrested President Yoon on charges including leading a rebellion. This occurred 43 days after the 'December 3 Emergency Martial Law Incident.' It is unprecedented in constitutional history for a sitting president to be arrested by an investigative agency. The PCC plans to immediately investigate President Yoon and request an arrest warrant within the 48-hour detention period.
