Lotte Museum Hosts Children's Education Program Linked to 'Enchanting Jewels, Captivating Time' Exhibition

Learning the History of Jewelry and Decorating Jewelry Trees with Characters
Lotte Museum announced on the 14th that it will run a children's educational program until March 16 in connection with the exhibition "The Art of Jewellery: Enchanting Jewels, Captivating Time," which showcases the rare jewelry collection of world-renowned jewelry collector Kazumi Arikawa.
The exhibition "Jewels of Enchantment, Time of Fascination" features a laurel wreath made of gold. This exhibition, showcasing 208 pieces from jewelry collector Kazumi Arikawa's collection, is open until March 16. Yonhap News
원본보기 아이콘This exhibition is a large-scale project featuring 208 carefully selected pieces from Kazumi Arikawa's extensive collection, offering a comprehensive overview of 5,000 years of jewelry history from ancient times to the present. Notably, it unveils for the first time the Renaissance master Valerio Belli's "Cross," and displays treasure-level jewelry of historical figures such as Napoleon, Queen Victoria, and Catherine the Great, divided into nine sections.
Lotte Museum collaborated with Joy Museum to create the program "Historical Exploration with Jewels, Making My Own Jewelry" to utilize this exhibition as a cultural education opportunity for children. Held twice a day every weekend, this program allows children to learn about the history and symbolism of jewelry from various eras and to develop creativity by making stone watercolor paintings and jewelry trees. Families wishing to participate can apply through the Joy Museum Naver reservation page.
At the "Jewels of Enchantment, Time of Fascination" exhibition, an official is photographing a cross made by Italian jewelry sculptor Valerio Veli with a mobile phone.
