Yangsan City Central Library held a storytelling performance event called "Winter Fairy Tale Yard" on the 11th to celebrate the winter vacation, allowing both adults and children to enjoy together.
This performance was conducted as a talent donation by the storytelling group "Dugeun Dugeun Donghwanara" (Leader: Ryu Jina), which was formed through the city library's reading activity leader training course. It received enthusiastic responses from users as children and families spent a meaningful time together.
Through two fairy tales themed around equality, diversity, and cooperation, as well as a magic show performed directly by the storytelling group leader, the event effectively conveyed moral values to children while also stimulating their imagination and creativity.
In addition, the program will continue in February at Yangsan City Seochang Library, where it plans to meet more families.
Kim Mikyung from the City Library stated, "This storytelling performance was a meaningful event that provided children with both fun and lessons," and added, "We will continue to prepare various cultural programs to offer more opportunities to local residents."
