Jangseong County to Operate Nighttime Architectural Civil Consultation Office

Jangseong County in Jeollanam-do is operating a nighttime architectural consultation office for residents who have difficulty visiting during regular business hours.

According to the county on the 14th, the consultation office is open every Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for two hours at the Civil Service Division on the first floor of the county office. However, visitors must make a reservation in advance with the Architectural Permit Team of the Civil Service Division.

The main consultation topics include determining the feasibility of locations for different building purposes, guidance on architectural permit procedures, professional consultations related to private construction such as architectural planning, construction, supervision, and maintenance, support for the application and interpretation of building regulations in various construction disputes, and suggestions for correcting unauthorized or illegal buildings.

A county official stated, "It is often difficult to explain architectural administrative matters over the phone," and added, "We will do our best to provide detailed guidance through face-to-face consultations."
