The Gwangju Education Civic Cooperation Promotion Institute will operate the '2025 New Parent Education Program by School Level'.
On the 14th, the institute announced that from July 4th to 6th, it will hold this event in the main auditorium for parents of students entering elementary, middle, and high schools.

원본보기 아이콘This education program, held over three sessions, is designed to help students adapt to school life and to assist parents in understanding the curriculum at each school level.
The institute will invite various educators and career education experts, including Lee Kyunghak, vice principal of Gwangju Junghung Elementary School, Jung Hoon-tak, supervisor at the city education office, and Ryu Sumi, supervisor, to provide a wide range of educational information.
The education session for parents of prospective first-grade elementary students will be held on July 4th from 10 AM to 12 PM under the theme 'A Preview of a Happy and Wise Elementary School Life.' The program includes exploring the curriculum for a wise elementary school life, wisdom for a happy school experience, how to prepare for a wise elementary school life, becoming a wise first-grade parent, and 'Curious about Neulbom!'
On the following day, July 5th from 10 AM to 12 PM, the session will be held for parents of prospective first-grade middle school students. Under the theme 'A to Z Guide for Prospective Middle School Parents,' topics will include what changes in middle school life, understanding the middle school curriculum, preparing for high school in advance, and how parents can promote their children's growth.
On July 6th, the program for parents of first-year high school students will focus on 'Systematic Career and Academic Pathway Education.' It will cover a variety of useful topics, such as trends in social change and the new talent profile, finding one's own path, understanding and preparing for the college admission system, the full implementation of the high school credit system in 2025, and major changes with the application of the 2028 college admission reform.
For the high school session, the participation time has been set from 7 PM to 9 PM to encourage participation from working parents and fathers.
Parents of prospective elementary, middle, and high school students who wish to participate can apply through the Gwangju Parent Support Center website by 1 PM on the 31st. For more details, contact the Parent Participation Division of the Civic Cooperation Promotion Institute.
