The First Family Honor of the Year is Born

On the morning of the 14th, at the membership ceremony held on the 2nd floor of the Sharing Culture Center of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, Chairman Park Cheolhong, CEO Lee Hyungseop, Gwangju Honor Representative Kim Donggi, Honor Member No. 79 Lee Sangcheol, and Honor Member No. 154 Kim Eunsuk took a commemorative photo. Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Saranguiyeolmae) announced on the 14th that Lee Hyungseop, CEO of Hwain Deco Co., Ltd., has joined as the 184th member of the Gwangju Honor Society, a group of individual high-value donors, marking the birth of the first Family Honor in Gwangju for the New Year 2025.

The induction ceremony, held that morning at the Sharing Culture Hall on the 2nd floor of Gwangju Saranguiyeolmae, was attended by Chairman Park Cheolhong, CEO Lee Hyungseop, Gwangju Honor Representative Kim Donggi, Honor Member No. 79 Lee Sangcheol, Honor Member No. 154 Kim Eunsook, Gwangju Saranguiyeolmae Secretary General Park Heungcheol, and staff members.

Through joining the Honor Society, CEO Lee was registered as the 9th Family Honor in Gwangju along with his father, Honor Member Lee Sangcheol, and his mother, Honor Member Kim Eunsook. Having long respected the good deeds of his parents and participated in social contribution activities for the local community, he decided to join the Honor Society upon becoming CEO of Hwain Deco Co., Ltd. in 2024.

New Honor Member Lee Hyungseop said, "My father always says that 'sharing is happiness' as his life philosophy, and watching my parents put this into practice in their daily lives inspired me to start sharing as well. I am grateful to be here today thanks to following in my parents' footsteps of good deeds and sharing, and I appreciate being able to extend warmth and love to our neighbors."

Park Cheolhong, Chairman of Gwangju Saranguiyeolmae, stated, "In these difficult economic times, it is truly challenging and requires a great commitment for three family members to join and participate in the Honor Society. The way your family spreads positive influence in the community is truly admirable and something to be proud of. Gwangju Saranguiyeolmae will do its utmost to ensure that the hearts of all those who practice sharing continue to brighten our community."

Honor Member Lee Sangcheol, who will now lead Gwangju's 9th Family Honor, said, "True happiness comes not from accumulating wealth, but from sharing it. Just as a tree blooms, bears fruit, and then empties itself to grow again, society also needs circulation and distribution. I hope that each step we take in practicing sharing will come together to create a warmer and more mature society."
