Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Corporation and Busan Bank Sign Main Banking Agreement

Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Corporation (Chairman Lee Yoon-sang) and BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Sung-bin) signed a business agreement regarding the main banking services at the Busan Bank headquarters on the 14th.

At the signing ceremony, Chairman Lee Yoon-sang of the Corporation, President Bang Sung-bin of Busan Bank, and officials from both organizations attended. The Corporation completed consultations with Busan Bank, the preferred negotiation partner, on system establishment plans and schedules by the end of December last year.

According to this agreement, Busan Bank will serve as the Corporation's main bank for three years from January this year until the end of 2027. Busan Bank is expected to provide stable financial support for the Gadeokdo New Airport construction project, which is being promoted by the Corporation with a total scale of 13.5 trillion KRW.

Additionally, the two organizations agreed to provide financial support for residents subject to compensation and to offer working capital loans to companies participating in the construction project.

Chairman Lee Yoon-sang said, “We will achieve meaningful results by cooperating with Busan Bank, which is carrying out various social contribution activities based in the region.”

President Bang Sung-bin of Busan Bank stated, “We will continuously cooperate with the Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Corporation, which is building a hub airport that will become a regional landmark, and strive for mutual growth with the region.”
