Jungheung Group to Offer Land Parcels in Seonwol High Park Complex, Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone in February

Three parcels of office facility sites for relocation housing and negotiated transfer sites
One parcel each for cultural facility and multi-family housing sites, among others
Jungheung Group is supplying land for the Seonwol High Park Complex being developed in the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone in the eastern region of Jeollanam-do.
Jungheung Group announced on the 14th that it plans to supply the first phase of land for the Seonwol High Park Complex in the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone next month.
The Seonwol High Park Complex in the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone is being developed on a site of 956,296㎡ (approximately 290,000 pyeong) in Seonwol-ri, Haeryong-myeon, Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do. The project aims to create a residential complex accommodating 6,000 households by 2026. The project is being implemented by Seonwol High Park Valley, with construction handled by Jungheung Construction and Jungheung Civil Engineering.
The first phase to be supplied this time includes △relocation housing sites △negotiated transfer sites △living measure sites △three parcels of office facility sites △one parcel of cultural facility and multi-family housing sites. The second phase, scheduled for supply in June, will include △42 parcels of commercial facility sites △34 parcels of neighborhood living facility sites △multi-family housing sites, among others.
The Seonwol High Park Complex in the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone is conveniently located near the Shindae District, a representative area of Suncheon, providing easy access to various living infrastructures. It is also adjacent to the Shindae Back District, which is expected to further improve the residential environment in the future. It is close to industrial complexes such as the Sepung General Industrial Complex and Yulchon General Industrial Complex, as well as Gwangyang Port, POSCO Gwangyang Steelworks, and Yeosu National Industrial Complex, which is expected to generate abundant housing demand based on employment opportunities.
The Seonwol High Park Complex is equipped with essential elements for residential living. It secures abundant green spaces and will feature an eco-friendly waterfront park connecting Shindaecheon Stream and the urban park. Various educational facilities, including elementary, middle, and high schools, will be generously established in three central locations. Cultural facility sites and small parks within the commercial district will be created as spaces for residents. Discussions are underway to attract global warehouse-type distribution facilities to the Shindae District area of Suncheon.
A representative from Jungheung Construction stated, "The Seonwol High Park Complex in the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone has a road network connecting Suncheon, Gwangyang, and Yeosu, and once the residential complex development is completed, it will become a hub city in the eastern region of Jeollanam-do." They added, "We will do our best to create a premium city where health, education, and culture harmoniously coexist, establishing the highest quality residential complex representing Jeollanam-do."
