The ‘Let's Play in Hampyeong’ association consists of rural experience and educational farms fostered by the Hampyeong County Agricultural Technology Center. Five farms are participating: Konggangaji Farm, Gallery Haru, Maedong Forest, Nabirang Ddalgi-rang, and Irine Farm.
The association plans to provide free rural experience and educational programs to children from vulnerable groups during school vacations. The main programs include harvesting agricultural products, caring for animals, and exploring nature, which are expected to contribute to the emotional stability and social development of the children. Details of the programs operated by the participating farms can be found on the Hampyeong County Office website.
This agreement is expected to serve as an opportunity to share the value of rural experiences with the local community and extend a warm helping hand to children from vulnerable groups.
Moon Jeongmo, head of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, “I was deeply impressed by the social contribution activities of the experiential and educational farms to support children,” and added, “We will take the lead in expanding agriculture as a field for education and experience through systematic farm management and development.”
