The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA announced on the 12th that the integrated Korea Pavilion set up at 'CES 2025,' the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, attracted great interest from buyers.

원본보기 아이콘KOTRA stated that 445 domestic companies participated, making it the largest-ever integrated Korea Pavilion, which was visited by key personnel from global companies such as Microsoft (MS), Nvidia, Apple, Sony, Amazon, Delta, and Bosch from the 7th to the 10th (local time).
At the integrated Korea Pavilion, innovative Korean small startups in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), mobility, and smart health attracted attention from overseas buyers and actively held consultations.
Song Jae-hoon, CEO of iChip, a developer of eye-tracking sensor chips, said, "Through participating in the integrated Korea Pavilion, we held consultations with major target global tech companies such as 'Tobii,' the world leader in body recognition, and 'Snapchat,' and are scheduled to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) worth 5 million dollars (about 7.5 billion KRW) with global augmented reality (AR) smart glasses developer company M."
Lee Do-hee, CEO of iLive, which participated with software that converts text into 3D animation using AI technology, said, "I discussed a future technology cooperation project related to virtual avatar development with the vice president of Nvidia, a leading company in the 3D animation ecosystem," adding, "By holding consultations with various industry buyers this time, we confirmed demand on the global stage and achieved results beyond expectations."
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA held the 'K-Innovation Pitching Challenge' event on the 8th and 9th, arranging individual consultations between Korean companies and 21 global companies including MS, Walmart, P&G, Honda Ventures, and Sensata Technologies. Through a networking event attended by 160 overseas venture capitalists and buyers, they provided opportunities to discover demand sources and technical cooperation.
KOTRA announced that 38 companies participating in the integrated Korea Pavilion signed supply contracts and MOUs related to technology partnerships worth a total of 38 million dollars (about 56 billion KRW) on site. The final contract amount is expected to reach 300 million dollars (about 442.5 billion KRW).
Kang Kyung-sung, president of KOTRA, held a press conference at CES on the 8th and said, "This year at CES, Korea participated with a record number of 1,010 companies and received the Innovation Champion Award, which is given to only six countries, greatly recognizing our innovation capabilities," adding, "We will continue to mobilize all our capabilities to support our companies so that their innovations can lead to exports."
