On the 9th, Namyangju Mayor Joo Gwang-deok attended the New Year's greeting event hosted by the Gyeonggi Eastern Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Lee Hong-gyun) and wished for mutual prosperity among all businesspeople.

At this New Year's greeting event, about 100 people including Namyangju Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, Chairman Lee Hong-gyun, Gyeonggi Province Administrative Deputy Governor Oh Hu-seok, local National Assembly, provincial and city council members, local figures, and company representatives gathered to exchange New Year's greetings and participate in a rice cake cutting ceremony, reaffirming their hopeful resolutions for the new year.


In his New Year's address, Chairman Lee Hong-gyun emphasized, “We will strengthen efforts for coexistence and mutual prosperity in the local community, promoting communication and cooperation between businesses and administrative agencies to create an environment for shared growth.”


Mayor Joo Gwang-deok said in his congratulatory speech, “As we welcome the hopeful new year of Eulsan year, I sincerely express my respect and gratitude for the hard work of the businesspeople leading the economy,” adding, “Namyangju City will make this year a year of transformation into a future advanced strategic industrial city by attracting promising companies.”


Mayor Joo continued, “To this end, we will proactively invest a budget of 116.1 billion won to stabilize the livelihood economy and revitalize the local economy,” emphasizing, “We will do our best for prompt execution and prepare additional measures in a timely manner according to the economic situation.”
