Uljin-gun Conducts Safety Inspections of Campsites in Preparation for Winter Season

On the 7th, Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, formed a joint inspection team to conduct safety inspections targeting registered campgrounds in the area in preparation for the winter season.

The inspection targeted campgrounds registered in the area that have caravan and glamping facilities, carefully checking various items including fire safety, electrical safety standards, and hygiene conditions.

As a result of the inspection, parts that could be immediately corrected were required to be fixed on-site, and they urged active elimination of risk factors through continuous self-inspections.

The county plans to improve the campground environment and make every effort to prevent winter safety accidents to create a safe tourism environment in the region.

County Governor Son Byeong-bok said, “We will strive to improve the quality of Uljin tourism through continuous management and inspections to raise safety awareness among campground operators and ensure campers can use the facilities in a safe and comfortable environment.”
